इस initiative का मुख्य उद्देश्य है कि ITI students को:

Cluster model का मतलब:

• एक area/zone में मौजूद कई ITIs को एक cluster में जोड़ा जाएगा

• shared modern labs और resources का इस्तेमाल होगा

• छोटे ITIs भी high-quality training दे पाएंगे
• duplication कम होगा

Apprenticeship practical training + earning opportunity होती है। PM-SETU के तहत apprenticeship model को:

• ज्यादा structured बनाया जाएगा
