Eligibility

  • Women aged 21 to 60 from low-income families in Odisha. (Note: For age calculations, the official reference will be her Aadhaar card date of birth.)
  • Women who are eligible for the Subhadra Yojana must be members of an NFSA or SFSS-covered family. Women with a family income of ₹2.5 lakh or less can apply even if their family is not a member of  NFSA or SFSS.

Ineligibility

  • Women who receive more than ₹1,500 per month under other government programs, government employees, and income taxpayers are not eligible.

Any woman who herself or whose family member falls under:

  • Present or previous MPs or MLAs.
  • Income taxpayers.
  • Elected public representatives in urban entities or Panchayati Raj institutions, excluding ward members and councillors.
  • Regular or contractual government employees, PSUs, or similar servicies, and pension recipients (excluding honorarium-based workers like ASHA or Anganwadi).
  • Appointed representatives to any government services.
  • Owners of four-wheelers (except some commercial vehicles).
  • Families with more than 5 acres of irrigated or 10 acres of non-irrigated land.

Candidates can apply online or offline if they are unsure how to apply for Subhadra Yojna.

  • Eligible women can apply for the Subhadra Yojana both offline and online using the SUBHADRA site. 
  • Free printed forms are accessible in Anganwadi Centers, Block Offices, and Common Service Centres. 
  • Applicants must submit their paperwork to the local Mo Seba Kendra, complete e-KYC (ideally using face authentication on the SUBHADRA app), and self-certify eligibility. 
  • The government will verify the applications. 
  • Women can also opt out of the system to transfer benefits to those in need using the SUBHADRA portal.
