Swadhar Yojana: Benefits, Eligibility and Application Process!

Updated:

Millions of students discontinued their education due to financial challenges at home. To support these students, the Maharashtra government launched the Swadhar Yojana. The primary purpose of this plan is to support the education of economically weaker students, ensuring that they do not miss out on learning due to financial constraints. The initiative offers direct financial assistance for food, housing, and other educational expenses.

What is Swadhar Yojana?

The government launched the Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Swadhar Yojana in 2016-17. It offers financial support to the students from Maharashtra’s Scheduled Caste and Nav Buddha communities.
